The CTA is planning to build a $570 million Skyway-style cement Flyover that barrels through the heart of Lakeview, ruining 2 blocks of Clark Street and creating blocks of under-El wasteland.

Why? To get Red Line trains downtown 20-30 seconds faster.

Think no one would be crazy enough to destroy a city just to get to it?
Look at Louisville, KY, and think again.
